Hello everyone,
Recently my GPU has begun to overheat when playing games (Fortnite, FIFA 18, Cities: Skylines). The GPU will reach 87 ºC and more, before I completely close the game.
I already cleaned the fans, put a new thermal and reinstalled my OS. Nothing seems to work.
I did stress tests to the CPU to check if this problem was general, but even at 100% for a couple of minutes, the CPU won't surpass the 83ºC mark. However, when I open a game, the GPU will heat and so will the CPU, reaching more than 95ºC even if it's not being used at 100%.
The idle temps are of 40-55ºC for both the CPU and GPU.
The laptop is a Asus N550JK.
