gtx 850m gddr3 version vs gddr5 version?

I have found a laptop (asus n550jk) for some gaming that looks perfect for me but it has a 850m 2gb gddr3 solution instead of the 4gb gddr5 elsewhere. How much will this impact my performance? How will the 2gb card fair against a 750m with gddr5?

This doesnt directly answer my question though comparing the gddr3 and gddr5 versions of the same card.

Hello... I understand... if they would seperate the model #'s between them we could see it... But they kind of lump the flavors into one Name.

Basically you will have 2-3 times more 128 bit memory bandwidth... but you still have the same class of GPU to in each case and it's hard to see any major climb up the list of performance results with either one... So always expect less performance with such products.
