Is Nvidia going to release a GTX 950 4gb or a 950 ti?

Nobody knows exactly, i'm going to have to guess the answer to the GTX 950 Ti is no unless they call the 4GB version the GTX 950 Ti. This is because the current performance gap form GTX 950 and GTX 960 is small and i can't see a GTX 950 Ti being stuffed in that small gap. If that happens the GTX 960 will be completely irrelevant and Nvidia won't do that.

A 4GB version may launch in the near future however for a semi entry level GPU like that the 4 GB of VRAM will do next to no good. By the time it actually uses more than 2 GB of VRAM the GPU won't be good enough to keep up.

For 1080P 2 GB is usually suffice even for the more demanding games, even though more and more games are predicted to use more VRAM in the future.

I remember I was eagerly waiting for a GTX 960ti. There was a leaked shipping manifest with specs of a card that could've very well been a GTX 960ti. It never came out. Since the 950s just came out, it could be a while for a higher vram model or ti release. Have not read anything yet hinting to them.
