I was doing some overclocking on my gtx 950 and I read that base core clock on it is 1024 MHz, but the thing is when its not overclocked in msi afterburner it shows 1316 MHz core clock and in my benchmark program it goes up to 1430 MHz.

when overlocked msi afterburner shows 1466 MHz and in unigine valley benchmark it goes up to 1580 MHz

so my question is: is it just a bug or my gpu going insane?

normal clock in afterburner: https://prnt.sc/ij2n1q
normal clock in benchmark: http://prntscr.com/ij2rgt
overclocked in afterburner: http://prntscr.com/ij2rqo
overclocked in benchmark: http://prntscr.com/ij2rz2

(temps are not high because i didnt run stress test for a long time)

Solution
Since Kepler, voltages and boost clocks depend on temperature. Keep it cool enough and it automatically overclocks more
