It's very easy to get an idea of what fps you will get ... CPU doesn't impact fps all that much on most games. But as each web site uses the same test system, you can get a very solid understanding how each card will perform relative to one another.
For performance in 16 different popular games start here:
On average the 1060 6Gb is 7% faster than the 3GB model which is 44% faster than the Ti
While SLI was a great idea for the 970 beating the 980 by 40% on average for the same price. two 960s couldn't catch the 970. Scaling on the 10xx series has been poor, tho I don't think anyone's quite sure if this is intentional or not. With no competition from AMD in the upper performance segment, the only card that would get hurt by good 1070 SLI performance would be the 1080.
MERGED QUESTION Question from White Wolf Gaming29 : "950 SLI VS 1050ti high/max"
White Wolf Gaming29 :
Hello, i'd like to know which is better, 950 SLI or 1050ti? And i'd like to play at high/max settings, how much fps will they get?
JackNaylorPE :
Two 960s didn't catch the 970 so SLI below the 970 wasn't really a big thing. You didn't tell what resolution so not much i can do but point ya where the info is
