Gtx 950 starts up with windows then goes black screen

I have a gtx 950 that is brand new and sat for a year not running well i tried to turn the pc on and the gpu worked for a while then the screen went black and the lights on the keyboard and mouse went off and the fan on the gpu went off and we have tried 3 different working pc and it does the same thing after a few mins i was wondering if anyone could help me because it works for a little bit and then docent.

if it doing that look to see if there any dirt/dust making a bridge on the gpu pcb. if the card is clean and fine contact the gpu vendor for a replacement card.
