Gtx 960 2gb overclock worth it ?

Hi i never actually have overclocked any card but is it worth it to do it how long will it last i dont want to overclock too much just little i got msi afterburner but im not sure from where to go
my gpu is Asus GTX 960 2gb STRIX
and my other specs are
CPU: I5 4460 3.2Ghz
RAM: 8gb
MOBO: Gigabyte H81M-H
SSD: 256gb
HDD: 1TB
PSU: CX600M 80+Bronze

i overclock all my cards because 1. free extra performance. and 2. the card will only last a couple years before it becomes obsolete regardless of what condition its in

max the power limit, then increase the core clock 10-20 increments and test your OC(overclock) on a benchmark or game to make sure its stable. once you get unstable results, go increase the core voltage by 10 and try increasing the core clock again. after finding the max clock speed, increase the memory clock speed by small increments til you find the max stable clock.
