GTX 960 and 144hz monitor or GTX 970 and 60hz monitor

So hi guys. I just git the money for a new upgrade. Im mainly playing CS:GO and rarely some other games like DayZ, BF3, Old CoD games and will want to play some new games like GTA V, Star Wars Battlenfront 3 and Fifa 16. But as i said, i am a hard CS:Go player. And i have 2 choices. Buy a 144hz monitor BenQ xl2411z and a Strix 960 4gb, or a strix 970 and keeping my 60hz monitor. Either way in 1 year time i will SLI either of the 2 cards. I want to reach Global in CS and i think the 144hz is useful. What do you guys think?

I think a 960 with a 144htz monitor is a waste of money mate - it'll push 100fps+ in csgo but you won't see above 60fps in any other mainstream titles.

On my actaul gpu i get around 200 anyways i play at low graphics with 1024x768 and when there are lots of smokes and flashes i get around 60.

Keep your monitor and get that GTX970. When the time finally come to you assemble your SLI you will be glad of that.
