Hi, I'm planning on buying an EVGA GTX 960 this week. ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487091 ) and probably an Intel i7 4790k by the end of the year.
I own an Acer Aspire TC-605 UB11 (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/acer-aspire-tc-series-desktop-intel-core-i5-8gb-memory-1tb-hard-drive-black/3288131.p?id=1219090033676&).
It's spec's are: Intel i5-4440 CPU @ 3.10GHz w/ some standard 8.00 GB of RAM on a 64-bit Windows 8.1 operating system. I have no idea how to find out the other information without contacting the manufacturer for some on the spot diagnosis. I am also not sure of how this process goes, is my current CPU sufficient for the GFX card i'm choosing or do I need to upgrade that first? Where does my motherboard come into play with a GFX, I know it's an LGA 1150 from the processor. Also, being safe, how strong of a power supply should do I need (recommended + recommended = total?)?
Any help is appreciated, Thank you for your time.
