So, I got a new GTX 960 card. It has 3 Display Ports, 1 HDMI, one DVI-D, and one DVI-I
I plugged in my two monitors like they had been with my old card - vga with adapter into the DVI-I, and my main monitor into the DVI-D. It did not work.
After switching things around and trying different setups, I found that the DVI-D port just didnt work at all.
Also, in the NVIDIA control panel, under 'configure surround, PhysX', it shows the ports for the card, and it only has the DP, HDMI, and DVI-I ports shown. The DVI-D port doesnt show up in there. Odd, I think. Is there any way to get the DVI-D port to work?
