not in a performance wise situation, but for full HD gaming its better 4gb.
its the same as with computers, your memory doesn't change much the speed of the system/GPU much as long you have enough of it, some games can use more then 2gb so it will slow down the GPU. like say GTA 5 in full HD on my setup it uses 2.6gb of video memory (i have gtx970) so you would feel a slowdown on 2 gb model but very playable (50-70 fps) , but lets say on monster hunter on full HD it uses 3,5gb (max for my card and i get 45-60 fps) so a 2gb card in full HD on monster hunter would just give up (20-40fps) 😀
