GTX 960 gaming build help!

So I want to use a GTX 960 for a gaming build, looking for input on other parts I would need. I want it to run around a 1000$ budget. Also want it to be easily upgradeable. I already have a monitor, keyboard, mouse etc etc.

I created a list of parts using the 960 if that is the card you want although you could cut down on some parts and get a 970. However my critisism of mlga91's build is the lack of an ssd and a poor quality case.
