GTX 960 life span?

So, i have this Strix 960 for a year now, and im kinda worried about its lifespan since some accidents happened... I always use Afterburner for a custom fan curve, and sometimes when i booted and just started playing a game, the "auto" button was disabled, so it held the fan speed of the gpu at 0% and i kept gaming, until it reached about 95° max, i noticed it 2 minutes later or so.
This exact same thing happened about 3 times or so through this year. Now i never let the gpu go above 70°. For how long could the gpu last? Did these 90° peak cases reduced gpu's lifespan?

Unlikely to have had any measurable effect, GPU's have good thermal protection built in and will throttle down at dangerous heat levels.

yeah your pc will shutdown or something if it gets too hot, just for safety.
But you shouldnt play with the fan curve. cause its an important part of your system. just set the fan curve back to default then you should not have any problems

As others said GPUs have failsafe mechanisms and after a certain temp is reached they will throttle or stop working with fans blowing at %100. You're probably fine.

Maximum safe temp for that GPU is over 90C anyway, if you caught it within minutes you have nothing to worry about.
