Hi,

I would like to double check with you guys if I can upgrade my pc with a GTX 960.
I need some upgrades but the GPU is quite the bottleneck for my games atm. ( GT 620 )

Model GTX 960

I have:

*Power: 450W Antec VP450P
*Motherboard: Asus p8H77-m
*CPU i3-3240 @3.40GHz
*Memory: 8GB
*...

I'm a bit worried about the power supply connection? IF I can not connect it, what is the suggested GPU?

Thanks!

The MSI 960 takes a 8 pin power cable , your PSU only has a 6 pin.

However

The 960 does come with a 6 to 8 pin adapter in the box, I wouldn't normally condone the use of a power adapter cable but in all honesty the 960 is such an efficient card it doesn't really need an 8 pin anyway.I can only assume its for people trying to push big overclocks.

IMO your setup is fine to run it.
