GTX 960 vs AMD 280

Hey

I have found the Gigabyte Geforce GTX 960 (bare in mind it is the 'mini version with only one fan whilst the 280 has 2 fans) as well as the Sapphire Radeon R9 280 for both the same price and I'm wondering which will be better for my PC. Any help appreciated.

Specs:

AMD FX-4100 QUAD CORE 3.6GHZ
8GB DDR3 RAM
Gigabyte M68MT-S2 Motherboard
Xigmatek NRP-VC403 400W Power Supply
Also I have a 1440x900p monitor

Your PSU cant supply enough power for r9 280, maybe for gtx 960 but i wouldnt connect anything that exspensive on that low quality PSU

What PSU would you reccomend for the R9 280? Are PSUs difficult to install?

No PSU are not hard to instal you jsut need to connect cables are cables are labeld. The easiest way if you dont know where do you connecto each cable is to watch youtube video about how to build a PC, like these one
