GTX 960 vs R9 380

What are the Pros and cons of the GTX 960 4gb versus the R9 380 4gb, and which one is better overall?

Very similar performance, but the 380 does perform with slightly higher FPS in general (not saying every game, but in general). The 960 uses a lot less power, about 70W less. One is AMD and one is Nvidia. Always comes down to preference of the buyer.

Then there are the AMD predictions of huge DX12 benefits, so that would be another reason for the 380.
