GTX 960 vs RX 470

RX 470 is just a little bit slower than rx 480 (which has similar performance as gtx 970). So go with rx 470 or wait for gtx 1050 if you need nvidia gpu.

And dont buy gtx 960 for 320usd, please. This is a ripoff.

edit: Didnt see you are from Australia. Still the gtx 960 not worth it.

If you're talking 1080p/60fps performance alone, the 470 is the better choice. Same for futureproof value and overall pricing, in Australia as well if the prices in your links are common there. Some benchmarks videocardz dot com posted which list 470 performance and others as well, to consider. http://videocardz.com/63033/gigabyte-radeon-rx-460-windforce-2x-performance-leaked

Note. Fwiw, the custom Asus 470 featured in Thom's review is the only one I've seen with a 6 pin connector. Most (all?) the other custom 470's feature an 8 pin, a better overall solution vs the 6 pin for this card. While the 480 is $60 AUD more, overall it's still the better value for the money vs the 470, imho.
