GTX 960 With 6-Pin from 2 Molex

I Have a powersupply with 12V1 AT 25A and 12V2 rated also at 25A and the power supply doesn't give me any 6-Pin connector for PCI-e. Can i install a gtx 960 with an adaptor from 2 Molex to a 6 Pin or not ?

Yes it will work but it is not recommended.

What exactly *is* the PSU. If it's a low-tier junk brand, not only is it not recommended, but the specs are very possibly just completely made up, which is fairly common among the junk tier.

It's a pre-included psu with mu case but i have alredy used it with another pc with 550W with a GPU which it needed a 6pin Connector (85W) and i want to know if i am able to install it or i'll blow my pc up

CPU: Intel Core I5-2400
RAM: 8GB DDR3 1333MHz
HDD: Toshiba 1TB 7.2K
SSD: 64GB Crucial
GPU: Intel HD (New GPU: GTX 960)

Or open your case & let us know the model number on the label.

It's an InterTech PSU 550W

Every intertech model I've seen has a least a 6
or 6+2 gpu pin connector

Yeah, I wouldn't use an adaptor with this PSU.

A "550W" PSU with no connectors is the first giant red flag. The inconsistent ratings table is another. The actual internal build quality is frightening.

In testing, the PSU was heading out of ATX spec at half its listed wattage and shut down beyond it.

So no, unless this GTX 960 hunted down and tortured your family and this is your cold-served revenge of pushing the 960 slowly towards death with the maximum discomfort, and after days of begging you to end its existence, only granting such merciful respite at a point at which you're under the belief that this 960 was now beyond feeling pain, I would not recommend using an adaptor to power a GTX 960 with this power supply.
