hye everyone. well im new here.
i'm facing a problem and it seems quite serious (for me).
i own an ASUS ROG G551JW laptop. I played Assassin's creed Unity and the performance is very poor. Even i set the resolution on 1280x720p, it's hard to maintain 30+ fps. my friend bought the same laptop as me and he ran the game smoothly.
what should i do to fix this problem.
specs of my laptop:
i7 4720hq 2.6 GHz
gtx 960m 2 gb vram gddr5
12 gb ram DDR3
Windows 10 64-bit

please do ask me if you need extra info. Tq.

no thats not normal. I don't know. If you reinstalled drivers, and running same settings as your friend you might have a bad component. Maybe a bent CPU pin I don't know how they manufacture laptops but that sounds like the problem to me.
Uninstall the Graphics drivers and then reinstall them.
Go to control panel, programs, uninstall, then local the Nvidia drivers and uninstall them, your computer will need to restart. Then you will have no drivers so everything will be weird until you reinstall drivers. Then google the driver for your GPU and do a manual reinstallation of it. Choose express or easy or whatever option does it automatically for you it will say (recommended)
