GTX 970 2x SLI vs 750w Gold PSU

Hello. Will the 750w Gold PSU be able to withstand GTX 970 in 2-way SLI without any type of overclocking? What about RAM, CPU and GPU overclocking taking place in the same scenario? Thanks.

As long as it's a decent make and model 750w it's plenty of power.

A 750w Gold is definitely enough for 2 way 970s. You should be able to overclock too, but by how much I'm not sure.

Just because it's labeled Gold , doesn't make it a great 750w.

Thanks for replying! The PSU I'm aiming for is: Corsair RMx 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply. Should I be opting for a higher wattage one?

750 is more than enough wattage, the RMx is decent but if you can get an EVGA 750G2 its much better.

I own the RMX 850W it's a great PSU series from Corsair and the 750w version is plenty of power for SLI 970.

RMX 750 very nice choice.
