Hey guys! I recently picked myself up a Zotac GTX 970 4gb GPU. And I was wondering would the card be worth it for overclocking it? I have the cooling that is needed for doing such a thing and already that card stays at relatively cool temps. And also should I save up for a 980 or dual SLI the cards?

Solution
Zotac makes great cards and yes it is worth it to OC. And SLI 970 would perform better than a 980, but would of course use more power(and more heat).

- Intel Core i5 4690K CPU
- 8GB 1600MHz Memory
- NVIDIA GTX 970 4GB
- 120mm CPU Liquid Cooling
- 120GB Samsung 840 EVO SSD
- 1TB 7200RPM Storage HDD
- ASUS Z97 Chipset Motherboard
- 750W Corsair CX PSU
- DVD-R/RW/CD-R/RW
- Microsoft Windows 8.1
Those are my specs do you still think I would be able of a good OC? And how would I go about overclocking it what software should I use? And what should I look out for. My case is pretty large on the front I have 3 120 or 140mm corsair fans and a lot more on the sides so I KNOW cooling will not be an issue. My pc is practically a mobile A/C unit not even over exadurating
