So I got my EVGA 970 FTW maybe a year ago and had absolutely no issues with it up until the release of Fallout 4. Day one playing Fallout, it was nearly unplayable. Random screen flashing, black bars and what I've been calling "cracks" covering the screen. I had jumped to the conclusion it was the game and was angry at Bethesda (in hindsight it was probably because it was the only game I was playing at the time). Then MGSV's release rolled around and I had a very similar experience. Then I got around to playing Undertale (I just used integrated graphics to play Undertale but that's besides the point), same. And then when I went back to replay some Mount & Blade, and now I've started playing Blade & Soul, same thing. Point is, I don't know when it started or what caused it.
Thermals are perfectly normal, 32C idle and about 74C-77C while running Furmark (artifacting in Furmark btw) and I've never OCed past the factory settings. I've updated all my drivers multiple times, I've completely removed and then reseated the gpu, I've tried everything I can think of short of the baking trick and I'm not sure I want risk screwing it up even worse.
Some artifacting in desktop applications too, Spotify, Steam, and Chrome, to the point that I had to switch to Firefox which works perfectly fine for some reason.
specs:
MSI Z97I AC
i7-4790k
EVGA GTX 970 FTW
2 x 8GB KIngston HyperX Fury
Here's a short video I made of a few of the games I have issues with
Thanks
