[SOLVED] GTX 970 BIOS flashing problem *not bricked*

Hello dear forum users,

I hope someone of you can help me with my problem. And no, this is not a "I bricked my GPU while BIOS flashing" Thread, before you leave right away. Anyway, continuing: Recently I decided to BIOS flash my 5 y/o ZOTAC GTX 970 amp omega core. Even though it was and still is a great card, with newer titles (and imo newer drivers but okay) the card really starts to struggle, even on medium settings (for example in Apex Legends, especially in the dropship). OC helps a bit, but the card constatly hits power limit. So I looked up how to do this on the internet and found some good video and written solutions. However, they do not cover my problem and I searched around the internet for a while now. As soon as I want to press "y" to install the driver it says "BIOS cert 2.0 verification error, update aborted", "Nothing changed", "ERROR: Invalid firmware image detected". I started the nvflash64 with parameter -6 and my modified rom file. And yes, the rom file originates from this exact GPU, which i extracted with GPU-Z and modified with Maxwell GPU Tweaker. Does someone have an idea why this happens and what I can do?

Thanks in advance!
