Hello,
I recently bought and installed a MSI GTX 970 as my old GPU was dying on me.
I ran DDU to remove all old drivers and installed the latest drivers as of 30/09/15.
I have played a few games just to see how the graphics card is and all seems well. League of legends, CS:GO and GTA 5 were what I used to test and all ran pretty well, no issues popped up.
The problem I'm having with the card is whenever I'm using chrome I would get this lag/freeze/stutter where the display would stop and freeze for a moment, 2-3 seconds and then continue. When the freeze happens everything continues, so if I'm watching a youtube video the sound will continue to play in the background. If I'm browsing Google the text will stop being shown as entered but when the freeze finishes it'll display what I've typed out.
I have tried Enabling/Disabling hardware acceleration showing no improvement.
I have tried monitoring GPU Z to see if anything was out of the ordinary when a freeze happens but all seems fine. I have tried IE to see if it was a browser problem but from my test it seems like its just chrome.
Something that may be notable is the PSU I'm using is a 450. The connectors I'm using to power the GPU is a 6 pin connector and a 6 pin + 2. I don't believe this should be causing the issue. ( I may upgrade my PSU to a 650, not been decided as of yet)
If anyone can provide me with some help it would be greatly appreciated, the stuttering when browsing can be a pain.

This is a copy from a post I made on the Geforce forums, really would like to fix this issue as it is becoming frustrating.
