Ever since I dipped my toe into PC gaming 2-3 years ago I've always wanted to build a high end rig (built my first 2, but they are entry-mid level at best)
I've come for a little advice, since Nvidia announced the 970 and 980 I immediately set out to purchase 1 of them. I decided to go for the 970 as it seems to fit all of my needs.
I have started collecting my parts and I've gone for a Corsair CP-9020053-UK RM Series RM550 80 Plus Gold 550W ATX/EPS Fully Modular PSU. I'm wondering if its enough? My gut told me 600 but after reading the numbers it seemed right to go for the 550?
Other build parts:
AMD FX 8320 Black Edition @ 4.5Ghz (Won't be over clocking straight away)
16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600 Mhz (2x8GB)
Asus M5A97 EVO R2.0 Motherboard
Palit GTX 970 Jetstream 4GB GPU Variant.
All help is appreciated on both the PSU and if there is better choice in my build options.
Also im looking for a nice case if anybody has a suggestion.
Thanks guys.
