Hi smarter people @ Toms:
I recently made a gaming PC after years of consoles to experience ultimate graphic nerdgasm, however its not all coming to pass since im struggling to get the kind of output i had thought i would
I have an nvidia gtx 970 running on a samsung HU8500 UHDTV where the colors coming out are too dark and too saturated. This applies both to games and video. When i connect the HDMI from TV to the motherboard (Z97X-gaming 3) the colors are better (bright enough to know whats going on in GOT darker scenes).
Currently trying to play Witcher 3 and colors are super washed out and dull. Have tried multiple settings in the Nvidia control panel (changed resolution, refresh rates, 59.999 etc) but nothing seems to be working out. Can anyone help me understand and fix this issue?
