I wanted to set a fan curve as my card (MSI NVIDIA GTX 970 Gaming Twin Frozr) will hit around 80c when playing bf4 on ultra my fans dont usually turn on till about 60-70c so I think the fan curve I've made is correctly done just wanted a second opinion. Heres the fan curve http://puu.sh/iLEt2/0e00d0ba65.png

Edit: After doing some more research Nvidia states that the max temp is 98c so I might just keep it as is. Its never gone above 81c from what I've seen.

Your joking right?
How does that graph remotley resemble a curve.
80 degrees is FAR too hot, even when gaming.
That fan curve is all wrong, you should never have a fan not running.
Dont mean to come across rude, but thats a quick way to burn out your gpu.

The fan is designed to not run all the time (below around 60-65) and seeing how 98 is max I dont really see a big problem.

Well if your comfortable with those temps, by all means keep it as is.
currently i have a crossfire setup with 2 cards which generates extra heat. Have them both overclocked by 40% on stock cooling. Never do they go above 60 degrees, and the max temp on them is 90.
I do concede, all cards are different, and im not overly familar with nvidia cards. However, i personally wouldnt be comfortable with 80+ degrees.
