So what's the problem you say eh? Well, I bet you were guessing, but I get 60 fps for 75% of gameplay. This is something I'm completely fine with. Then, when I walk into some crazy awesome lookin' woods and forests that are heavily dense, my FPS drops to around 53-54. This really bothers me! It is like poison to my eyes because it is like everything is so perfect, and then all of a sudden when the frames drop, it seems as if it is tanking. Is there any way I can keep it more stable around 60? I mean, I totally got the hardware for it.

Things I've tried:

- Overclocking GPU
- Changing the XML Mapping in the GameSetting.xml file
- Closing background applications that could be somewhat relevant to impact performance
- Tweaking around graphics settings (like trying out TXAA did NOT work)
- Tried after second patch (Dec 9th I believe)
- And of course, the best of all, I've tried updating my graphics drivers.

If you have any suggestion or anything that could possibly contribute to my sadness/misery/woe, please do so or forever hold your peace. Thanks for taking the time to read guys.

Unfortunately, I can't run Riva Tuner, Afterburner, or precision x while Far Cry is running because it inevitably crashes after 10-20 mins of gameplay, if any of those applications are running.
