Gtx 970 g1 external power source

So I was installing my Gtx 970 g1 and then I proceeded to put the external power source. My problem is that there was a 6-pin cable ready to use, but I needed a 8-pin one and there wasnt one. I tried to use a converter that went from two white plugs to the 8-pin one. But neither could I. My computer didnt have the suitable cables. What do I do?

I bought the computer built. My power source is a DPS 460 DB-5amps
