Hello .

I just upgraded my PC with these : 4790k , Z97x gaming 5 gigabyte , GTX 970 g1 .
my PSU : Gigabyte SuperB 720 .

First there was no signal at all ( in bios and in windows ) , but when I remove my GPU the motherboard will automatically switch to intel HD and will works just fine . I changed the bios settings to make the intial GPU is intel , I reinstalled my GTX and fired it up . once I got to windows and installed the GTX driver and restarted back to bios and switched back the setting to PCIE .

Now it works in windows but still won't show the bios screen ( No signal ) . I did try to reset my motherboard ( with the jumper and in bios setting ) checked my power cables and nothing worked .

Can you guys help me ?

Are you running a UEFI boot or legacy boot? Legacy will power on devices one at a time and the GTX will not power on until bios is finished and the OS is loading. UEFI launches everything at once for hardware checks with the sole exception of the OS which loads last. That being said, and you are using UEFI, is the card on during bios? A good indication is if the fans are spinning.

@Suribachi
I am not sure but I think i am running in UEFI . The LED on the GTX are on during the bios but once it get to windows it turned off since I set it off in the geforce experience and I think the fans are spinning during the bios too .

trying it in an older mother board might not work because the gpu architecture is to new and wont be recognized in that bios. Best thing is to go on the gigabyte website and check to see if your bios is latest one. After you have flashed a new bios then install the card and should work fine.
