Hey guys, i had gtx 970 for a while now about 8 months. recently i saw that my middle cooler isn't spinning when i don't play anything, when graphics card gets hotter then it start spinning, that wasn't happening when i first bought her.
Can someone tell me why is that happening, can that be an impact on gaming, and cooling, is there some option to turn on or off?
Not really gaming but a feature implemented in the GPU's architecture+cooling to ensure that the fans don't spin when the GPU isn't taxed or when not necessary. When taxed or under load and when necessary the fans will kick in.
Thanks for answer, but i asked couple of people, and 1 in 10 of them is happening the same, i was scared that my gpu will broke cause of that, but if that's a new feature then okay. I was just wondering why are these 2 spinning and middle one not :^)
