For the past few years i wanted to mine with my own little rig but did not have enough money. Now i can buy something but with a low budget.
So i'm looking at a dual gtx970 as they come for about 200€ or less.
The question is are they still good for mining since i've heard rumors that they aren't 4GB. Or should i rather go for rx570 or 580 or even rx4xx? Which go from 250€ on.
Also what kind of CPU, motherboard, ram, and storage should i go for?

not a gaming PC just a mining rig and just on the balcony where we usually have the windows open and heating off.. i decided i'm going with a single gtx 1060 6gb for now, since Zcash seems profitable and the GPU uses barely any power. not sure about the mobo and CPU the mobo is kinda messing with my head.

I did that and should get about 100$ profit each month maybe a bit more with AMD. But can gtx970 still mine properly. Also can i have my rig on the balcony(it's -5 daily here) so it cools better?
