I plan on building a PC with an i54690k, Nvidia GTX 970, 8gb of RAM and Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. Will this rig run fine on my old 300 watt power supply? What is the least amount of watts it needs? Many thanks in advance!

Thanks guys! I will get a 600 watt power supply so I have enough wiggle room in case I want to get a different graphics card. Also in the future in case I want to get 2 or 3 more GTX 970's how many watts will I need? For now though I will get a 600 watt PSU.

Im assuming you've all completed your builds but for anyone else who stumbles upon this thread,

This is a PSU wattage calculator which will give u an idea of how much power the system will draw. I would reccomend getting a PSU 50-100w over the suggested though to be safe.

I have the exact same setup only asus 8gb 1b hd. Cm5647 model from 2011 I personally put in a 600 watt just be safe but I pick up 500 would be suffice I think I'm going to get a new motherboard so I can let my a graphics card really shine maybe in I 7 processor but I 5 is fine
