Hello all,

as it's annouced in the title, i want to build my first gaming pc, and my budget is 800euros.

i want to play at 1080 with 50-60 fps, and i want to have a pc that will last for the 3 coming years.
so a friend of mine told me to go with the gtx 970 and the i5 6400+.

can you please tell me if it wll be possible to stay at 800euro with both gtx970 and i5-6400+ ?
If not can you suggest a build ?
if yes would you please suggest the other components?

P.S. my kind of games; the witcher 3 - assassin's creed - skyrim - and i want to be able to play revelation online with good fps

thank you in advance for your reply.

best regards

The gtx 970 is a super solid card but keep in mind 3/4gb of vram is becoming the standard of gaming so expect to lower some settings in some TBR AAA games in the next 3-5 years. The RX 480 8gb is a good contender if you can find it for a good price otherwise stick to the gtx 970.
The i5-6400 is as good for gaming as the i3-6100 is in most cases so I'd advise to get the i5-6500 (it gives you extra 5-10 fps in most cases compared to the 6400).
The 6600 is wasted money, same performance as the 6500 for the price of the K model.
You'll be able to run just about every AAA game on ultra-maxed out at 1080p buttery smooth.
