Hello,
I have had my computer for about 7 years now and it has been working perfectly fine,
Lately, however, a problem has started where sometimes my monitor freezes completely and only manual reboot solves the problem. Another problem is that sometimes when I boot up the computer the monitor just doesn't work - and when I connect the monitor directly to the motherboard it does work - which leads me to believe I have an issue with the GPU.
The lights on the GPU lights up every time.
Also, when the monitor is connected to the motherboard, I don't see that the system detects my GPU.
the GPU I'm using is a MSI GTX 970.
I have tried:
Any ideas?

I have tried:
- updating my drivers,
- swapping out cables,
- swapping out monitors,
- plugging into a different port on the GPU
Any ideas?
