Lately I've been experiencing major fps drops and stuttering while playing almost any game even though I'm well over the recommended pc specs for that particular game.
So far I've tried with Team Fortress 2, Counter Strike Global Offensive and GTA 5. They all run at around 30fps with stuttering all the way down to 7 fps almost every second, regardless of my graphical settings, which is really weird. Even Youtube videos get slight stutters at 1080p60fps even though the videos have buffered already.
Here is the stats on my GPU while running GTA 5 at almost maxed out graphical settings. The drops in the GPU load are what I assume to be the stutters. (Highest spikes go around 60% load)
I have 8GB of RAM and my CPU seems to be doing fine too.
I would really appreciate any help or suggestions on this matter. My friend is thinking that my GPU isn't receiving enough power or something similar, but I have a good power supply and there weren't any problems until a few days ago.
Are there any settings I should be fiddling with? Is my hardware damaged?
And yes, I have the latest driver.
Please help.
