Hello I just received my EVGA GTX 970 in the mail yesterday, I uninstalled my old card drivers, removed the card, put the new one in, connected the pins, installed the newest drivers. Everything was working fine for about 10 minutes. Then about 4 minutes into Far Cry 4 I got a BSOD. I kept getting these, all with multiple different errors such as:

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

BAD_POOL_HEADER

STOP: 0x000000c4

and so forth. I contacted EVGA and they recommended to go into safe mode and uninstall the drivers in Safe Mode with DDU, then go back and reinstall the lastest drivers, things worked once more for only a few minutes. Then the BSODS came back. At one point however the game just crashed and a Window pop up message appeared saying "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered." The temps on the card are normal under load, I even tried underclocking the card. Nothing seems to be working, I will take any suggestions that I can get, RMA'ing is at the bottom of my list on things I want to do.

Specs:

AMD Phenom II X4 965 @3.4 Ghz
EVGA GeForce GTX 970
8GB DDR3 RAM (and yes, I have ran memtests, the RAM is fine).
1TB Western Digital HDD

Sorry for my newbiness. This is really the first time I have messed with a GPU's clock and things like that. Do you mean reduce the GPU's memory clock or GPU Clock? And also, increase my machines memory voltage or the GPUs memory voltage? I apologize once again for my lack of knowledge on gpus.
