GTX 970 on a 500w PSU ?

My current system has msi 990fx-gd65 with a fx 8320, msi 7950, 8gb 1600 ram and 1 hdd. Would a corsair cxm 500 be enough if i replaced the 7950 with a gtx 970 ?

It will be enough, but it's gonna be close one what about overall quality. I'd suggest RM650W for GTX 970, or at least 550W.

Thanks for the reply, I think i'll keep the 500w for a month or two and then think about going bigger with the power supply.
