Gtx 970 or Rx 580 8gb?

This might seem dumb but the thing is a friend is gifting me this Sapphire rx 580 8GB edition and my current specs are
i5 2400
8gb ram
500 gb hard n 120 gb ssd
300 watt psu
asus h61 mobo
i know it will bottleneck it thats why i want to would sell the 580 to get the 970 to remove the bottleneck and note i wont be able to afford new cpu at the moment as well as selling the 580 would cover the cost of the new psu
I mainly Play pubg PC on 1080p 60 Hz monitor so anything like new games on 1080p 60+ Fps at med/high settings would be satisfactory so should i keep the 580 bottle necked or the 970

I would also probably keep the 580. Games wont perform better on a 970 because it will be less bottlenecked than a 580 would paired with that CPU.

Keep the rx580 you will get better gaming experience than 970
