GTX 970 or something else?

Computer specs:
Asus Z87-Pro
i5 4670k overclocked 4.6Ghz, H2O cooling
2x4GB 1600Mhz
Asus GTX 560 Ti
Syncmaster T220

I want to upgrade my monitor and my graphics card to:

Benq XL2411Z
Geforce GTX 970

I just wonder if my computer will be able to run high quality games better and it would be really helpful if you guys can take a look if theres a better suited GPU for me to use!

YES. GTX 970 is massively better than 560 ti. I own one and highly recommend it over any card at the sub $400 price point. You will be running everything max settings @ 1080p.

The gtx 970 would be a good sized gpu upgrade. Just be careful of the psu. Depending on the specific model of 970 you'll need a quality 520w to 650w psu
