GTX 970 or...?

I have my build Here and I was curious if the GTX 970 was the best graphics card I could get for my system while staying under $350. (I haven't gotten the GTX yet but, it is in the pcpartpicker to give you an idea)

What price point are you getting the graphics card for? Did you consider the SSC version? The Asus Strix 970 is also on sale right now at newegg.

As for the r9 390, you'll get more FPS based upon what game you are playing and what resolution is the best way to say that lol, after that though I'd say the framrates are pretty comparable. VRAM is only an issue if your going higher than 1080p. Only thing after that is that AMD tends to consume more power so the card is going to run hotter. That may or may not matter to you.

What resolution do you play on? If anything over 1080p, I'd highly recommend the R9 390.
