GTX 970 Return & which 970 should I buy?

Basically I've had numerous issues with my EVGA SC ACX 2.0 GTX 970, and I've decided to return it. Such as coil whine, overheating, and the like. Regardless I'm getting my money back and I still want a 970 but I am not sure which brand to buy. Any help is most appreciated.

My brother has the Gigabyte 970 windforce. Hes owned it for a while now, but it has no issues. The fans sometimes ( RARELY) get loud if you play for more than 6+ hours without any rest. how hot does his gpu get? i have a g1 as well but the fans never really kick on untill it gets above 55C degrees and so far 55-60 seem to be about the max i can get the card during benchmarks

He made the fans spin at 100% when it gets above 20C (lol dont ask me how) XD Max ive seen his GPU get is 60-75 C

haha well that makes 0 sense, guess he really wants to keep it cool. but i agree the fans do get loud at 100% but you dont need them at 100 to have it run at safe temperatures

Lol yea hes a temp freak. Once it is at 100% I can hear it from 10 feet away at max, but its really quite xD

Gigabyte G1 or MSI Gaming.
Strix is voltage locked. So if you plan on overclocking don't consider it.
