2010 Alienware Aurora. Upgraded not too long ago. Added Evga gtx 970 ssc acx 2.0 and worked fine. Yesterday bought a identical card, installed it, put on one of those generic ribbon SLI connecters. PC booted up fine but here is where it gets bad:
At first pc didn't recognize 2nd card then after a few minutes for some reason it picked it up. My 3D vision wasn't working so I decided to update the drivers. So now the drivers fail on install everytime...tried many different versions to make sure. Anyways, after my attempt the pc got stuck at windows loading screen forever . Finally did recovery but drivers still fail on install...can anyone help me out here??
Update: whenever I go to open device manager i get denied with some "mmc" issue...this is all really odd and making me nervous
