GTX 970 SLI vs GTX 1070ti - Which one should I choose?

I watched on youtube that GTX 970 SLI can beat GTX 1070 . I also watched that GTX 970 SLI can be defeated by GTX 1080 . GTX 1070ti also can be defeated by GTX 1080 and It also made defeat GTX 1070 . I am so confused . Which way should I go ? Please Help Me!!!

My Confiq(If Needed):

CPU : I5 8600k
CPU COOLER : Nzxt Karken x62
MOBO : Asus Prime Z370-A
RAM : 16 GB 3200MHz
GPU : GTX 970 SLI (USED) or GTX 1070TI
PSU : 650W Power Supply

SLI is not worth it at all. Definitely sell your 970, and get the 1070ti.
Last time I checked 970s are selling on ebay for around $200, depending on model.

If you want it easy, guaranteed performance in every single game just go with 1070ti.
