gtx 970 ssc low fps and fps drops

im getting low fps compared to other benchmarks i have seen on this card. on battlefield the fps wont go above 60-70 on ultra or low.

gigabyte fm2 motherboard
AMD 7700K @3.6ghz
2x 4GB hyper X fury RAM
850 watt psu
and of course EVGA 970 ssc

For starters that PSU is a ticking bomb (Its utter rubbish), buy a new quality one ASAP. Temperatures?
