I installed a Asus Strix Gtx 970 into my pc, and at first it booted up and displayed, but in device manager it showed up as 'Microsoft Basic Display Adapter'. After installing the nvidia drivers my monitor went into no display.
When I now try to boot it up, it shows the windows logo, then a black screen with loading dots and then it no displays again (Note that Windows seems to still start up as the sounds can still be heard)
I have DDUed the drivers and reinstalled them in safe mode, but upon exiting safe mode, the same problem occurs.

My Specs:
Aorus B450 board
Ryzen 3 2200g (I have been using the iGPU built into this for my gaming)
Aero 700W bronze 80+ PSU
Asus Strix GTX 970

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Gigabyte have a number of B450 chipset boards, which one do you have and what BIOS version are you working with? As for your GPU, did you use DDU prior to dropping the GTX970 in? How old is the PSU in your build?
