Hi guys first time here. Forgive me for by bad english.

I have a Evga GTX 970 it's working fine, but it was heating up a lot. I did some testing she easily got 85 Celsius. So I changed the thermal paste for a good one, and put some thermal pads in the memorys... Got a 5 degrees diference what was good. But still it was running too hot, so i downloaded the EVGA app (precisionx1) and i noticed the problem, if the fans are on auto they do not work correctly, even on turbo, de degrees go up and the fans do not. The pwn fan control is fine, i can control them. Controlling them manually, i got the gpu to work on normal temps.

So that's my problem, i have to keep changing the fan speeds manually on the app according with the load/temp.
Besides that everything is perfect.

I don't know how to solve this, i was thinking GPU bios update maybe, or it's a problem with the sensors?
But they detect the temps correctly, the fans just don't do what they suppose on auto.

My Specs

Asus Tuf Gaming B550M Plus
Ryzen 5 5600x
Crucial Ballistix 2x 16gb 3600mhz CL16
EVGA GTX 970

Thx.

If you can manually set a custom fan curve in a program, let's say MSI afterburner, then you have nothing to worry about.

With the current GPU situation you DON'T want to mess anything with a working GPU.
That's the problem. I did that, but it didn't work. The EVGA one have se same option, i will try on the after burner.

Edit

Strange the one on msi after burner worked, but problem solved thx.
