Hello, I have this gaming computer I bought: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883229285

My question is, I've been looking at this graphics card: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127833

Is the card too big for my case? If it is then I cannot buy it so should I go with this one? Is it almost as good was the previous one?: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125706

Also, is my motherboard compatible with Nvidia cards, if not, can someone suggest the best graphics card I can get for max 390$?

Thank-you so much for reading my question, hopefully you can help me out with this.

Ya that's good that you bought a new cpu will work better with the 970 it's still going to be the bottleneck in cpu intensive games but as they start using more cores you'll see better performance over the 4300. Oc would help if your familiar with it.
Your R7 240 measures: 9.25 x 6.5 inches x 9.25 inches x 2.5 inches
(http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883229285)
The GTX 970 measures: H= 36, L=275 (10.83"), W=125 mm (http://us.msi.com/product/vga/GTX-970-4GD5T-OC-.html#hero-specification)
The 3rd card measures: H=43, L=183, W=129 mm (http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5252#ov)

Look in your case am see if you have the additional 1.58" to add the card you want without hitting mounting brackets/frame/etc. I have read that the case is pretty spacious, so just double check. One thing to keep in mind, is that the PSU provided with that rig is only 500w...you should probably look at upgrading that PSU if you go with the new GPU

That MSI one will fit just fine. And I would get the MSI version because i looked at the reviews on the gigabyte model and there were a few coil whine complaints.

However, that FX 4300 is going to be a huge bottleneck on that GPU. So your not going to be getting your money's worth out of that gtx 970 until you upgrade your CPU.

That has no bearing on the GPU. The new CPU will fit right in, as it is the same size as the old one.
