I read this article on guru3d regarding GTX 970 http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/does-the-geforce-gtx-970-have-a-memory-allocation-bug.html which explains that for games that consume more than 3.5GB of VRAM, suffer severely in performance. This is due to GTX 970 having separate 3.5 GB memory and 0.5 GB memory banks.
My question is that do currently available games actually consume over 3.5GB at 1080p on ultra settings?
