gtx 970 vram

Hello. i want to know if there is only gtx 970 4 gb vram edition or there is 2 gb vram edition too. Pls help me with that and can gtx 970 go with 8 gb of ram?

There is only a 4GB version. Your alternative is either the GTX 770 2GB or the GTX 960 2GB. 8 GB RAM is good on all occasions. Doesn't matter which processor or graphics card.

ye i know i already spoke with u that i will not get i5 4690k i will get i7 4790 with gtx 970 for onlly 1800$

they actually just made pc on site where im buying and only 20$ more expensive than my build which i wanted

Actually gtx 970 has 3.5 GB usable memory, the other 0.5 GB is really slow and ruins the fps if the game needs more than 3.5gb...
